What is our purpose/mission of the Preacher's Daughter Book Club?Our mission is to create a book club that offers a safe place to make new friends, join old ones, and embrace the power of literature with hearty discussions (over wine or cofee) while ensuring safe social distancing.

How do we choose which books are going to be read?We take them by suggestions then we will send out a poll via email to vote. We will choose the book by majority vote. If in the case we do not have a month where we vote for a book, we will ask a random person to suggest one and go with that suggestion.

Where does the book club meet? In person? Online?Most of the time we will be meeting at the outdoor patio of The Preacher's Daughter as long as we are within the county's safety measures of social distancing. If for any reason the county decides to shut outdoor dining, we will resume the book club online via Zoom. Make sure to give us your email address so that we can keep in contact with information on in-person meeting and online meetings.

How often does the book club meet?We will be meeting once a month on the 1st Saturday from 11am-12pm on the outdoor patio of The Preacher's Daughter.

What are you doing to ensure that social distance guidelines are met?Each member will have their temperature checked and asked some standard safety questions before each meeting. Tables and chairs will remain 6 feet apart and every member must wear a mask to participate. We will have hand sanitizer on hand as well.

Is there a fee or cost to join the book club?The book club is completely free!

Who can join?Anyone can join! We will do our best to make sure that we have a well-rounded theme of books at a reasonable reading level to adhere to our members.

What kind of books will we be reading?Anything and everything from fiction, non-fiction, self-help, classic, mystery, adventure, autobiographies, biographies and more. You name it and we'll all do our best to suggest, vote, and find the best book in each genre.
